The SiREN Symposium is a biennial event for individuals and organisations dedicated to preventing and reducing the impacts of sexually transmissible infections and blood-borne viruses. The Symposium showcases evidence-based practice and provides an opportunity for cross-sector networking and collaboration.

The 2024 Symposium will be a two-day event delivered online and in person at The Hub, Bentley Technology Park on 30th and 31st May 2024.

The theme for the Symposium is Getting to zero: Community and workforce actions for the elimination of HIV, hepatitis C and congenital syphilis in WA.

The theme recognises and celebrates the work of services in the sexual health and blood-borne virus sector towards the elimination of HIV, hepatitis C and congenital syphilis.

The symposium will soon be inviting abstracts for presentations on this theme. Further information on the event will be provided soon.
